Note: For best results, ensure the chicken is thawed thoroughly before microwaving to promote even heating and optimal texture.

  1. Remove Packaging: Take the chicken out of its packaging and place it on a microwave-safe dish.

  2. Cover: Lightly cover the chicken with a microwave-safe lid or a piece of microwave-safe plastic wrap to keep the moisture in.

  3. Heat: Microwave on medium for 2-3 minutes. If the chicken is not thoroughly heated, continue microwaving in 30-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached.

  4. Let Rest: Let the chicken sit for a minute before serving to distribute the heat evenly.

Water Bath Method

Step 1 : Thaw the Chicken

  • Ensure your Sooveed Chicky sous vide chicken breast is fully thawed before cooking. If it’s still frozen, place the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before you plan to warm it.

Step 2: Prepare the Water Bath

  • Fill a large container or pot with one mug of room temperature water.
  • Add three cups of boiling water to the container. This mixture will help achieve a warm environment that's ideal for reheating the chicken without cooking it further.

Step 3: Immerse the Chicken

  • Submerge the sealed Sooveed Chicky chicken breast pouch into the water bath. Ensure the chicken is fully immersed to ensure even reheating.

Step 4: Reheat

  • Leave the chicken in the water bath for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Step 5: Check the Temperature

  • Carefully remove the chicken from the water bath and check if it’s heated through. The internal temperature should reach at least 60°C (140°F) to ensure it is warm and ready to eat.
